DAILY BEAST
It turns out that younger Americans both want to bring home the bacon. Seventy-two percent of adults younger than 30 favor a dual-income model, according to a Pew Research Poll released on Wednesday. What’s more, it looks like the younger you are, the more likely you are to believe that both men and women should work. Although apparently these millennials aren’t practicing what they preach: only 57 percent of young married couples where the wife is younger than 30 are in a dual-income marriage, compared with 62 percent of couples in their 30s and 40s. The young couples are also 5 percent more likely than older couples to have a breadwinner husband and a homemaker wife.
