He was even depicted as Hitler on the cover of the Philadelphia Daily News. On Tuesday morning, he was interviewed on several news stations defending the proposals and claiming they are no different to FDR's executive orders immediately after the bombing of Pearl Harbor putting restrictions on migrants from enemy countries. 'If you look at what he did, it was a lot worse,' Trump told GMA's George Stephanopoulos. Trump said he would not put Muslims in internment camps and clarified today that American citizens who follow Islam would not be prevented from coming and going, only foreigners.
