Is Clinton headed for a landslide win? It could happen.

Can he make a comeback? Mark Halperin lays out the formula on Morning Joe: "...debates are obviously important...if his ads are really good... if he starts to talk simply about changing Washington with some discipline...and then I think he needs Hillary Clinton to make mistakes. He either needs a new Clinton controversy, or he needs her to make a series of mistakes. Those are the elements."

Meanwhile, Clinton released the list of big names leading her White House transition team. Is this measuring the drapes, or good politics? There's always a risk in looking like you're already moving into 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., but Halperin says there's one big reason this approach can work for her: Inevitability. The more she looks like she's just laying the groundwork for a successful presidency, the better for her political chances.
